Diwali Playdate started with two Singapore mums who wanted their kids to grow up loving Deepavali as much as they did.

@symplesana2026 highlights: what parents told us they loved, and what we saw on the night.
Honestly, words can't do justice to how good it was. Rinie and Sana, wow! We had an absolute blast. I wasn't sure if my 16-month-old was too young, but he was dancing away right till the end!
Booths were amazing, and the fashion show was sooo fun!
Our favourite part? The Ramayan storytelling and the aarti.
The number of activities kept the kids occupied across every station.
Super fun and so well thought out.
Making and decorating those wooden diyas was the best part!
It was extremely fun. Would love to join again next year.
This should be a yearly event!
Growing up, Deepavali meant sticky hands, new clothes, diyas on every ledge and a house full of noise. We wanted our kids in Singapore to feel that too, so we threw them a party and invited everyone.
With love, Rinie & Sana
